Early in January, around four inches of snow fell in Inuyama. We made a snowman (or rather a “snow chimpanzee”) in the chimpanzees enclosure.
Mari (left) and Puchi (right) came out.
Puchi quickly approached the snowman and…
… She ate its eyes, mouth, and hat, made of food!
Mari was taking a look at the snow.
She watched the snow for a long time, without looking away.
This is Pendesa. “Brr…It’s so cold!”
This is Ayumu, playing with the snow and laughing!
This is Mari again. She was eating the snow in the warm room. But after that, she was given some hot water to prevent colds.
